Sinaloa is located on the northwestern part of Mexico near the Pacific Coast. It is a state rich in natural resources with
cultivable irrigated and not-irrigated land extensions and a production potential of more than 3,200,000 acres. There are 11
rivers watering its valleys, and there are also 11 dams that have a capacity of more than 22 thousand million cubic meters
(780 thousand million cubic feet) of water storage. The state has appropriate climate conditions and a vanguard field
treatment which allows Sinaloa to occupy the first level in agricultural production For all these reasons, Sinaloa is best
known as the top grain producer in Mexico.
In the middle of the most productive and technical valley of Mexico, Grupo GRANO was born as a result of the union of 15
agricultural groups from Culiacan and Navolato.
